The History Department is planning a visit to Rome (and possibly Pompeii and Sorento) in April 2011. This will be an incredible opportunity to visit some of the great relics on Ancient Rome, view the masterpieces of Renaissance Italy and see the legacy of Mussolini's dictatorship. Estimated cost: £550-600. The trip will be open to pupils studying GCSE History next year, but I would consider taking A Level students if they were interested.
